Casinos like the Sahara, the Sands, the New Frontier, the Royal Nevada, the Showboat, the Riviera, the Fremont, Binion's Horseshoe, and the Tropicana. These casinos saw gambling as a major source of income and needed to keep their players staying longer with them so they decided to create luxury rooms and provide 24/7 entertainment with strip joints, great restaurants and special attraction shows that included Hollywood stars and famous singers like Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Abbott and Costello, Bing Crosby and Sammy Davis Jnr.

So as you can see Las Vegas land based casinos have come a long way since the days of the mob. Nowadays, the Vegas Strip has the biggest and most luxurious hotel casino resorts in the world. Gangsters don’t own the casinos anymore, but big corporations and billionaire individuals.

Macau is the Vegas of Asia and brings in millions of visitors each year who just come to gamble at the Macau casinos. Gambling is massive around the world and everyone is doing it, whether on the internet at online casinos or at land based casinos in Vegas or Macau.
